Some OEM's Still Don't Get It, Some Do !
This OEM System manfacturer does get and has gotten it for years. Building a low end no name brand item box is easy to do, but at what cost ?

I have always been proud to put my name and my brand on every box I have ever built. Out of the hundreds of machines I have built, I have only had problems with the hardware on 2 machines in 10 years, which were found in the 72 hour burn in I do when I custom build.

I have always used Name Brand components and only trust in those proven products. As a result, my boxes tend to cost a bit more, but are well worth the satisfaction I get from my customers being totally satisfied with the solutions I provide.

For too long, PC makers have been playing the low price low end game and Dell is now seeing the light that I and other OEM Builders have seen. The no name, no brand PC's are crap. They don't last. Even Dell's low end products tend to give out in a short period of time, many don't make it to the end of the warranty period without failure. Plus, their parts (like power supplies) tend to be PROPRIETARY rather than "Off the Shelf" Name Brand component parts and aren't very expandable.

I am looking forward to the possibility of selling Apples new OS/X on intel based boxes I build. It would certainly add a new dimension to my product line (no pun intended). happy
