Dell in the Ferrari business eh?
So Dell is going to launch a high-end series of Desktop's? I don't see anything wrong with it from their point of view. Personally I dont think they will be famously successful with it. The problem from my point of view is this. Most of the buyers of this kind of equipment are not novice users unfamiliar with hardware potential. More and more people these days are capable of shopping for or can have a friend or associate build an equivalent performing "UNIT" for approximately 60% of the cost of buying one from the likes of Dell or any other Manu. When u are talking a $3k unit or higher the prospect of this alternative becomes alot attractive. Maybe im wrong but i dont think im way way wrong.
