Linux and DRM Not Yet Compatible
Until Linux fully supports DRM and works out the GPL kinks there in, Linux has absolutely no chance of gaining significant consume acceptance. Over the next 10 years DRM is going to wrap itself around virtually every electronic device that plays back copyrighted material. That's a fact. Deal with it or get out of the way. Now PalmOS and Linux may provide among others a foundation on which to build DRM technology deep into the Linux Kernel which is where it probably has to go to some degree in order to be implemented effectively.
