Microsoft determined to get their snout in your living room
I would NEVER use the media center edition. Like I really want all my viewing habits uploaded to third parties constantly. Actually, I don't want ANY kind of "media center". What is there even really to see nowadays? I rarely ever go to the movies, and I never rent anything anymore. IMO, today's "entertainment" sucks. It's all half ass crap that won't be remembered even three months from now..
Let's be honest though: Microsoft could care less about video games. This is purely an attempt to become the de facto media center for everyone's house. Period. Uncle Billy will never give up on his dream to be the only software out there. It really has become a pathetic spectacle. When I think of Gates I think of an invalid, like Michaewl Jackson. He is soooooo warped and controlling and unrealistic, he is not even a real person anymore. He's like Arnie from the original Terminator flick, mindlessly grinding on in his mission, even as his epidermus is skinned and some of his limbs bombed off, with his skeletion carcass dragging along the floor dronely muttering, "must kill Sarah Connor, must own all technology, must break whatever laws.."
