There's a lot to be said for small, simple games
Hey, I love the big budget titles, and the 20 year old classics.

For absolutely masterful graphics and gameplay, I just adore Quake3, but the other side to the coin...

Lode Runner,
Rattler Race,
Pacman or just some clever set of puzzle games can prove to be just as enjoyable, and provide just as much gameplay at a tiny fraction of the HDD space, hardware demands and development agony.

The original Lode Runner may have only had 4 colors, and 6 controls (left, right, up, down, dig left, dig right) but the brilliant challenge of the hundreds of levels means to this day I still go back to the game. Thankfully someone has broken the old disc protection, otherwise I'd have to try to purchase a 5 1/4 inch floppy drive in order to play it! There are alos speed fixes so these oldies can run on processors that are thousands of times faster.
