geometry is different with computers
Those who believe that geometry is the same when working with computers or paper and pen will have to learn both geometry and what is learning. Geometry has to change with the time (as also with contexts).
If one knows theorems only as told by teachers and has never known how experiments can be performed to infer what amounts to a theorem ( and then logically accept the theorem) , the she has missed some important pleasure of learning. That computers can make such an experience (and experimenting) passible changes the nature of learning with computers. A more serious analysis may be seen in : "Children's Machine: rethinking school in the age of computer" by Seymore Papert.
Imagine this support in a remote village where the teacher has herself missed a lot of learning. So it is not that computers should be given only to the rich or that paper and pencil are not to be used.
