Rural India's rough road to computer literacy

what for? whats going on...: Yes rough road but for what, towards which direction. Why cant geometry be done on books with pen/pencil. Is money savings so complex that a PC is required? Many other basic issues have to be tackled, poverty must be reduced and wages should be given properly for other non-pc work. Farmers or other labour class workers pay should be increased and government see that they get trained in their respective working field with good sanity and shelter provided first. I am sure with these various so called programs someone is making money and fooling others. "The PCs run on a discontinued processor from Via and a relatively small amount of memory." oh yeah they are gettign rid of their systems and I am sure not for 0.00 Rupees. Also "All of the software is based on Linux." so issues with fixed freely too , no service or maintennance. New Mumbai also has Malaria and other respiratory dieseases , governmetn should focus on tackling it.
