- Underdog until viruses occur
-
Sure, they're coming from behind...but if they bring the viruses that made their OS so much fun, they're gonna STAY behind.
Or, they do...and, like in the computing world, people come to EXPECT to be hung up on, to have their phone dial 911 all day long and just deal with it....the suicide rates will soar.
But I smell a fish.
2-3 years ago it was reported that there were 60,000 varieties of viruses for Windows. On a machine where the source code is as coveted as the Holy Grail.
Linux covers more machines than the Mac, and it had ony *6* at the time, with only two ever being seen in the wild. And the sourcecode flows like water.
Doesn't it seem like SOMEONE's getting help in writing new viruses? - Posted by: Brian@... Posted on: 05/06/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
