The FULL Windows eXPerience???

Oh, I understand... you wanted your kids to be forced into using
Windows XP and be just as frustrated as you are because you
"have to eXPerience" the frustration of crashes, and viruses, and
security concerns EVERY DAY?

Where are you located? If you're the CIO of ET on your school
board, I'd like to know what qualifications you have to get you
there other than sledgehammering a Mac? I don't want to subject
my kids to a school district that's so impressed by drama. Since
your DELL rep seemed to come up with the funding and
programs, HE should be the one with the "honorary" position on
the school board, NOT you! But let me guess: that'd be a conflict
of interest?

BTW, whatever happened to educations that provide kids with
choices? If you don't understand that basic need in educational
environments, that different kids have different learning styles
and needs, you're stuck in the 1950's and need to take a
refresher course in education.
