Kids learn better than adults
Than most adults that is. It doesn't matter what computer they use to learn on the concepts all transfer from one to another. You might have click in differnt location but the concept is the same.

The only people who struggle with differnt OSes are those who learn by rote which is how most adults learn. So if the icon is missing they are lost. Add to this the fear of the computer that many have this makes for a tough time.

A child who grows up with computers has no problems figuring out how to make what ever OS is dropped on thier work.
