Three cheers for Philly (about time)
I can see why Verizon and Comcast don't like the idea of allowing ISP's and others to sell broadband access. It just puts a huge dent in their plans to use their virtual monopolies to gouge people for internet access. Now they will have to buy access and sell it just like everyone else. What a shame.

More municipalities should follow Philly's lead.
