Ummmm....

I don't think anyone is responding because they can clearly see you don't know what you are talking about. Yes, there are different speed packages on both cable and DSL, but the rest of your blurb is in another dimension.

So, you traveled around the globe and tested everyone's DSL -versus- cable to come up with your conclusion that cable is faster than DSL? lol. Actually, for your learning environment, you really can't compare them because they operate differently and have different factors that would make them faster -- or slower. But since I have lived in many eastern states, and had both, I will take DSL over cable ANYDAY! The biggest reason is that your DSL connection is ONLY YOUR connection. However, your friendly cable company control who, how many and where your connection is shared. Yep! If you have cable, you are placed in a group... the more in the group and your 1.5MB connection goes to about a 1200 baud modem. Smile and enjoy your cable while it lasts....
