LOL morons..

The FCC is just helping cable by doing this. BTW, why do people keep saying that cable is more expensive? Its 50 for dsl here and 45 for cable. If you get the higher speed dsl its actually 75 a month. Thats the other thing i dont like about this article, DSL is sold in speeds, so you cant compare it to cable unless you specify which speed.

Course more to the point: Since cable in most areas is faster than the highest speed dsl, there really is no comparison now...

Besides the facts above, you can also get voip phones with your cable service( or use another provider of voip ) with cable and get their video services.. Hrm, why do we need phone companies again?

I am also waiting for roger ramjet to comment on this.... WiMAX will pwn both cable and telephone companies in the future.. wireless is where it will be and unfortunately for these companies.. if they dont get with the times, they are gonna be out of it.
