Broadband scuffle reaches Supreme Court

finally, some facts...: This is the first story I've seen on the facts, we need to de-regulate the phone companies and NOT start in on the cable companies, that will finally help us to catch up and pass the rest of the world on broadband... as far as internet over power lines,, it might help in some areas of the country, but it still has a cost that some people don't take into account..you will need equipment patched into the power cables..YIKES...and a jumper device at every transformer...the signal can't go through the transformer since it act's like a giant inductor..the money saved on running cables will be offset by the fact not just any jackass needs to be climbing up there..you will need a high paid field tech on every house call..$$$$$$$; Posted by: ydhptkh1 Posted on: 03/25/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
