"""We've already lost the 4th amendment and parts of the 1st. Until the courts uphold the appeal currently being waged by the Bush administration, the feds can legally arrest and detain you without cause and without providing you with access to a lawyer. The FBI can break into your home and search your stuff, and even go so far as to place a gag order on you, making it illegal for you to tell others that they were ever even there."""
Lets see, we have lost the 1st? Does the press have the right and ability to report on anything they want to? The last time I looked they did. You may not agree with what they say but they can say it. Freedon of religion? That depends on which side of seperation of church and state you are on. If you believe that it requires a strict seperation then you agree with the current court decisions. If you believe that no such thing is said, then you don't. Peaceful assembly. You have the right to do so, there may be some restriction on where you can do it but you are free to do it.
The 4th? No police agency can legally search anything you have unless you give them permission or they obtain a warrant. Now can and do police sometimes lie to obtain a warrant. Yes they have and when it was found out, whatever was found was thrown out and could not be used. The gag order is a very limited thing and can only be used with the permission of the court.
"""Soon yoyu and your kids will face MANDATORY mental health screening. And when the "screeners" deliberately misdiagnose your kid to give a nice present to the psychotropic pharmaceuticals, you will be FORCED to allow these criminals to ploy your kid with harmful drugs, and if you object you can be possibly be put in jail."""
I must have missed when they passed this law, to be exact I don't remember hearing about it but perhaps someone can post a link about it.
"""Also, soon your right to declare bankruptcy will be taken away, courtesy of all the lobbying by the credit card companies."""
Yes the laws have been changed, with the companies being owed money and they are not just credit card companies, being able to claim more if a person is able to pay and the main point being that you can not declare bankruptcy again for 10 years after you have claimed it once. I can understand why a person may get over their heads with debt and need the help of the bankrupcty court. I also understand the companies wanting their money. That is why there are different types of bankrupcty ranging from (on the personal side) completly forgiving all your debts to where the person and someone appointed by the bankruptcy work out a plan where the person pay back a part of the debt, usually the principal over a certain amount of time.
