Wake up: dave P, how ignorant are you? Seriously, YOU need to get off the Rove crack pipe and wake up. Are you SERIOUSLY listing the Middle East as an accomplishment? Unless we infected Arafat's kidneys, that had ZERO to do w/ us! In terms of Iraq, if you think that has been a success?? you know nothing of history! Do you know the last time there were great tributes to US success that brought about a great decree of democracy? Vietnam having elections one year before total collapse that lasted decades!-The inititl proclamations of success because of a vote lasted a year before chaos ruled again because the system was not in place to support it. Before that there was Syria itself in the 60's same EXACT thing...proclamations of freedom and elections from outside forces ousting existing rulers...only to have everything collapse the following year. Educate yourself and stop listeing to Rush Limbaugh!
Bankruptcy????? You want to defend the Bankruptcy decision? If they cared one iota about the people instead of corporations like MBNA, then they would have addressed corporate Bankruptcy laws!! Do you have ANY idea how easy chapter 7 and 13 corporate Bankruptcy laws are on companies ...allwoing them to screw employyes out of billions/year of their pensions and 401K's (I used to represent these companies until it turned my stomach sour!).

At best would give us oil to run the country for 6 months! that's it! no more! Will take at least 8 years to get here.....if hey cared at oil about an enery policy they would increase CAFE by 4 miles to the gallon.....save more oil than all of Alaska combined! EPA?....FCC? Tax breaks that have helped me a lot...but the folks that need it...SCREWED! That what drives me utz about this country....the TOTAL morons that support this administration from the farm belt thru the mid west are the very people they screw!!!!
