I can see where he is coming from
It really depends though. If the devices are low enough in cost for the average home user to take advantage of. Something I suspect will happen.

In fact I'm betting you will see content delivery companies footing the bill in much the same way you see Star Choice and Bell Express Vu giving away free dished for you to access thier content with.

Personally I think the days of paying the Telco for using a line are over soon. Judging from what I see my Telco doing, getting into content delivery I think they see it too. The network will be free, the content won't be. This currently is the biggest hurdle that internet is facing. So I pay say I-Tunes for content and I pay my Telco for the ability to access I-Tunes. See the problem there. As long as I'm paying $40 a month for high speed internet I'm not going to spend another $40-$80 a month for any online content.

ISPs are in a position today to take advantage of content delivery when WiMAX takes over.

Who will own the WiMax tower? I think anyone who buys a WiMax router and decide to stick tower on their home. Imangine a 30 Floor Appartment building with hundreds of WiMax attennas. What kind of tower would that make?
