Schools, Ploice,Fire protection, etc...
As I travel around the country and see the state of "public services" in the larger cities I am often frightened by what I find. Students graduating high school that can't do the basic three "Rs" being my biggest concern.

When you talk to the leaders of the communities they all say the same thing, there isn't enough money to improve the schools. And yet here we have some one that thinks an internet connection is somehow more important than having good schools and is willing to spend tax payer dollars on it.

And political animals wonder why they are no longer trusted or respected... sigh
