Analysts appraisal
Are analysts expectations for company earnings no more than a weather forecast? So if an analyst guesses wrong, then its' the company's fault. Or are we to pretend an analyst hasn't got inside information? In which case they're doubly fooling the public. If an analyst doesn't know what to report then why bother at all. I'd like Cisco profits to double quarter over quarter ad infinitum, a little birdie told me. And if I'm 'wrong' then Cisco will pay, the piper as it were. A dumb game to play. The only winners are the forecasters, at least in their dreams.
