- Isn't that when you as the CEO and such are

suppose to show the stockholder's that you have a well thought out plan where in the long run the stockholders will benefit far more than any fullish short term gains? I mean some have done this and I think these are the CEO's (some of the very few who are worth their salt) like Steve Jobs who time and again proves that a long term plan and vision has some fantastic benefits to those who stay the course.
If a CEO and his team can not come up with a long term plan for a company in the first place he/she should be shown the road at the very first chance. If a CEO and his/her team can not convince a majority of the stock holder that this plan is sound and should be followed then he/she sould look for another place to work..cause why work for idiots!
Any moron can slash the work force, cut corners, and or merge to make short term gains and cash in on their stock options. If that is the current and future American business plan then we are all doomed!
