Connecting the home networking dots

Networking is hard???: "The challenge is getting the different networks to work together and in such a way that is easy for non-technical people to understand."

My Mac has about 12GB of music ripped from my CD collection, or purchased from iTunes. I record TV programs on the Mac using a firewire eyeTV tuner from elgato (and burn them to DVD if I wish).

An eyeHome device (about the size of a paperback book) hooked up to my entertainment center allows me to play my iTunes, watch recorded shows and any other video files, as well as view any images on my Mac.

My cost was about $350 for the two elgato devices, and $129 for an Airport Express Base station.

Everything is networked via Airport Express and it took me about 2 hours to set up everything. The network setup took about 10 minutes.
