Most home users I know only care about sharing a broadband connection - if that. Most people don't care about this. They don't care if they have a digital media center, or can share their MP3 collection, or can send TiVo to another room. I think this is just another case of the tech industry trying to offer a "solution" to a problem that does not exist.
