"Still to the point moralists seem NOT to be satisfied with living their lives the way they choose to. They seem to want the rest of
us to live their lives as well."
Jim,
I am probably one of those moralists you are referring to. However, I do not fit the entire bill. I think there is a great deal of difference between partial nudity in a halftime show my kids and I were watching together and an application you choose to have on your personal electronic equipment. I object to having material I do not approve of being forced upon me in an environment I can resonable expect to be safe for me and my children, but I do not object to your personal choices. They are your choices to live with and answer for. Your choices only involve me when they include me. then I have the right to be offended or not as I choose.
I am very tired of my fellow Christians trying to legislate our brand of morality on a diverse public that does not agree with many of our stands. Who is to say that the liegislation brought to remove pornographic prose or images may someday not be turned to remove Bibles and religious Icons by another group that finds them objectionable? I welcome your opportunity to choose to live as you do because it also means that I have the opportunity to live as I choose.
Please feel free to view this material if you choose and know that there is one CHristian out there that will defend your right to do it. Please also know that if you set your cell phone on my desk with that application running, you will likely find it in the trash when you return.
