Transaction Tax
I like it. The only downside is how to implement the tracking for cash-transactions. For example, if I go to PC store and purchase a subscription for internet service and pay cash for the subscription who will collect the tax?

Unless the banks become ISP's I can't see it being implemented.

It would have to be implemented in the same form as a sales or usage tax even though it would be called a "transaction tax".
