Ummm guys, it was a joke..
That this escaped everyone is a tad frightening. You talk about freedom and yet the same small group of individuals owns and runs this country. You talk of freedom in politics, and yet no third party candidate has ever come close to winning, despite most of the country's frustration with the two party system and its ineffectiveness and corruption. Hell, your "votes" are "counted" behind closed doors by private corporations in bed with political parties. You call this freedom?! We just got 8 years of a guy who was never elected. And where are the press stories over the recounts? There are NONE! You only find it on alternative news sites. And where was the press story on the shooting down of TWA 800, the falling of WTC 7, the multiple bombs found in the Oklahoma City building? Answer: there were none because the "free" press was not free to print it. And what about the freedom to assemble? In NYC during the republican national convention it became a crime to merely be in the city! I know, because a friend of mine was there and committed the grave crime of..showing up! Arrested and held for two days without being processed or seeing a lawyer. Freedom my ass!
