Well...
...obviously if they didn't allow it there must have been some issues with it. And yet on that day, all sorts of people were able to use this technology without any problems. And this is on top of a mountain of standard operating procedures that were blatantly not followed, laws of science being openly defied, not just one but three steel framed buildings falling due to fire for the first time in history, and hijackers flying commercial aircraft for the first time and with near perfect precision. You really don't find all of this taken together to be just a tad unrealistic?..
