TDMA works better then GSM in many CITY areas
I am a AT&T wireless customer. When I wanted to increase my minutes, I had to switch from a TDMA to GSM phones / account.
I never had any issues with poor call quality & frequently dropped calls.
Now that I am on their GSM network, I am lucky to get a 30 second call at my work location & a much higher rate of dropped calls, network busy, signal strength goes up & down & poor call quality (this is on several phones, not just 1 & not just me).
I wish I could go back to TDMA or switch networks because this is just horrrible!
