Uh, I've a couple of problems with this post, George.

"Industry Regulation should only occur when abuses occur." I think that is too late, that under those circumstances by the time the law gets around to punishing the lawbreaker, the whole world has moved on and the bad guy gets to say "Oops, too bad, I'm sorry," and he pockets his ill-gotten gains and looks for another target.

"With the current market, there is no monopoly on the Cable companies." Since I can ONLY get Cox in my neighborhood, indeed, in my entire side of town, doesn't that constitute a monopoly?
