Industry Regulation should only occur when abuses occur. With the current market, there is no monopoly on the Cable companies. However, I do feel that sharing lines is a bad idea. I would rather Telcos not be required to share lines either. However, I feel that just because a telco does business in a certain town, that they are the only business in that town. I feel that telcos should compete at the customer level, not the community level. Such broad concepts really hurts the marketplace.
