That's not the half of it... while SBC claims the All Distance package is $48.95/mo, it's much more. You can't have it (according to their billing customer service folks) without having several other services on your phone (like voice mail, etc.) It took us months to get rid of All Distance and we kept trying because our 48.95 phone service consistently produced bills in the $85-$95 area. It was all a load of crap every time we called to ask why on earth it was that much.

So, for SBCs 19.99 DSL service + All Distance, your bill is going to be more like $110+/month.

No thanks, SBC, you can keep it
