It is fascinating how this technology matures.
I live in area with poor quality cell phone voice service. I have used AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile and they all have serious qulaity problems delivering a basic voice phone call even with the latest and greatest phones. Given this sorry performance I have no expectations of ever using a cell phone for TV in my lifetime. I doubt I would subscribe to yet a second TV service unless I spent a lot of time on the road in any case. I would hope that the voice service might improve to the point where I would find ices usable for voice.
