Do you know what a blivet is?
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=blivet

/bliv'*t/ [allegedly from a World War II military term meaning
"ten pounds of manure in a five-pound bag"]

Cell phones are quickly becoming blivets. Why is it so necessary to pack so much "function" into a small device? Enough already. There are points in any device where "enough" becomes too much. Give me a phone that sends and receives calls and has advanced functions for the telephone, you know like caller I.D., last call dialed, phone book etc. Do you know how hard it is to find one of those? Sheesh.

And in the "old news" (March 18, 2003) catagory we have the story that Sony has already created a TV chip for handhelds but has no plans to commercialize the device.

Kinda tells me that if Sony thought it was a good idea they would have had the product on the market already, thus not a good product.
