The author is wrong, its a reality in Virginia
The author is wrong that BBPL is still a fantasy. In Nelson County Va. it has been in use for about 4 months. Speeds are around 256-512k depending on the weather. But considering 90% of the homes in that county do not have DSL/cable broadband available to them, this is going to be a boom to the local co-op utility.
