..As many as 72 million barrels of oil were given to high ranking French officials ..
I hope these officials had large apartments because that's a lot of oil.
Maybe the French opposed the invasion of Iraq because:
1. Inspections worked. Saddam had no WMDs.
2. There was no threat from him and his few rusty T-55s.
3. The middle-east is a tinderbox. Go around playing with fire and who knows what might happen.
4. There is already a real war on terrorism and France like most other NATO members have troops serving in Afghanistan and are actively hunting and prosecuting Islamic terrorist.
No 'you tried to hurt my daddy' syndrome.
