Knee jerks
Any doctor on call who leaves his old-fashioned pager at home when he goes to the cinema deserves what he gets.

I also like the bit about being able to make phone calls if somebody "becomes ill". I'm sure if it's a real emergency the management will turn the device off for you. For something like a heart attack they might even turn on the lights and pause the film.

Whatever, I'm sure that walking 20 yards to the door to make a call can't be all that difficult. However did we all manage to survive past the age of six before cell phones, eh?
