Skype worked well for me
Loaded Skype onto my wireless enabled Dell Axim Pocket PC and set of on holidays in the Caribbean where I was staying at a wireless enabled hotel. Bought 10 Euros credit (Purchase OK with 2nd credit card I used but not the first).
Skype worked well for calling family and friends Pocket PC to their PCs and for making calls to parts of Europe and 'local' calls to Aruba.
Talked for as long as we liked Pocket PC to other PCs and made the calls to land line that we needed to make. Still got just under 7 Euro credit.
Wonderful value for money. The Pocket PC sits downstairs with Skype running and when someone calls we answer it. Couldn't be easier. It's also cheaper than some third party long distance companies charges and is competitive for calls within your country.
