Skype DOES Rock
I recently had a 4-way phone conference with someone in Hong Kong, Australia, San Francisco and...the place I am located...and audio quality was spectacular. There were a few fuzzy points, but for a FREE service, amazing.

I'm very interested in the Skype for Pocket PC product they just released. You could sit in a Starbucks hooked up to a wireless network and have phone conferences. Very nifty.
