Get a clue
Um.. an employer's rights has boundaries, and the restroom example shows it. The employer simply cannot monitor a restroom, for example, without notification or cause. That's a boundary.

So when it comes to whether a company has the right to track their employees' location on their cell phones, then you're delusional if you think the tracking could be:

- All hours, all days (24/7).
- Or on employee's personal cell phones.
- In all locations (for example, monitoring which room the employee is in when the employee is at his personal residence.)

If an employer has no boundaries, the employer could force all employees to work naked, on the off chance that some employee will try to steal company property underneath clothing. But clearly, this is not the case.

You seem to like a "take it or leave it" world, but thankfully many judges and lawmakers disagree with your position. For example, when it comes to employers vs. employees, you seem feel that an employer should get all the power to dictate terms. And in copyright, you feel that the copyright holder should get all the power to dictate terms. You feel that contract law, somehow, is a loophole that allows ALL personal rights to be "voluntarily" signed away. And you feel that as someone who does not have the upper hand in the bargaining table, that their only freedom is to accept the terms that are given or to reject them. You're welcome to believe the world works in such absolutes, but when you wake up, you'll realize that the courts and Congress are not on your side. Even contracts have boundaries (for example, contracts of adhesion).

Cheers!
