total BS
Total BS regarding infrastructure.

Plot for government corporate welfare to help them fix their own screwup and help them compete with companys like Utopia (check the history of Telcos and Cable companys attempts to *DESTROY* this company) and Verizon who *HAVE* been investing in their infrastructure to serve customer needs into the future ....

See also Japan, and Asia, where 100 MBS ISP's are common or standard. Movies download in minutes.

See also China's TERAbit fiber cable direct from mainland China to California with *ZERO* stops between. Check the news and you'll see China has been planning a huge internet infrastructure announcement / turnon with the start of the Olympics.

BFL: Telco and Cable has been doing all they can to hold back internet development to *PREVENT* us from having alternate telephone service options, as well as alternate TV/Video (read:Cable) delivery options. This is the primary basis for them doing all they could to kill Utopia which partnered with local governments to provide 100 mbs fiber direct to people's home and get us caught up with Asia .....

This will be twisted into Corporate Welfare pure and simple. They created the problem so now let them *DIE* and give way to those actually interested in investing in internet infrastructure and providing consumers with now options, and features (alacart programming, etc).
