As much as we all hate government...
regulations, it is the only thing that will bring broadband providers in line with what we really need.

Just like the days of POT's. They were not allowed to pull this crap. We never ran out of phone capacity because of it. Telco's were never required to function in a truly competitive market because they could not and it wasn't conducive to their utility like operations. Deregulation ONLY works in what is called a Perfect Economy. There is no such thing. In an unregulated market, some go without. We can not afford this with the Internet. Everyone needs and should have unfettered Internet. This will require the Government as representative of the people to step in and force ISP's hands. PERIOD!
