be careful what you ask for
yes, the fourth amendment needs to be updated, but I wouldn't trust the current government to do it. These are the guys that have already releived of so many rights that if they had a chance to 'fix' the fourth amendment we would end up in a worse situation than we are now. All you have to do is look at the DMCA. That favors corporations over individuals. Once a law passes it is much harder to change/repeal it.
