This incident illuminates why the Fourth Amendment needs to be "updated" to reflect the use of contemporary technology. Our private information should remain that - private. And this must include any and all forms of communication; information, regardless of its form (i.e. paper records, contents of cell phones, laptops, PDA's, etc). If the government or prosecutors want to go on a fishing expedition - then GET A WARRANT!!!!!
