While criminals, they do have a point.
I find that both U.S. District Judge Frederick J. Martone and the 9th Circuit's decision in the McCreary trial to be in gross violation of the 4th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. To wit, "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Said search in this case being unreasonable as the government already had way more than enough evidence to put these two guys away. Doing so was redundant and wasteful (gee, our government being wasteful?) There would have been no problem getting a warrant from a judge because they already had very good probable cause. It's not like they were in hot pursuit or afraid of emminent destruction of the evidence.

Every failure to protect a person's rights, whether they are guilty or not, erodes the rights of everyone, including the innocent.
