Motorola profit meets expectations, but loss on phones forecast

Motorola is an enigma

Motorola invented the cellphone, has a reasonably good brand and has incredible technology.

Yet, they are overwhelmed by Nokia for innovative products - a company with it's roots in paper products and Apple, a computer company, trumps them with the cool iPhone. Baffling.

Now, we have the mobile internet knocking on their doors and what do I expect? NOTHING from them. They will get run over AGAIN, while they put a new dress and lipstick on Razr. They need to fire the top 4 layers of upper management.
