England could do like Japan and the USA and obsolete all the cell phone technology currently being used in England paving the way for the Android standard. Safety is the first cry of the oppressors and those oppressors are trans national big businesses with investments in > 1 Ghz wireless technology which isn't mobile except at pedestrian speeds. So consumer fraud is being perpetrated with government assistance. England, owing to its status as an Island needs to nationalize the < 1Ghz spectrum if it wants to compete as the US and Japan will be. Think about the fellow that is going to be late for work and phones with map presentations. This notion that every driver is incompetent to handle phone technology in the auto will never be proven. The notion that trans national big businesses will never be able to make back their investment in > 1ghz doesn't need proving.
