Compiz is a toy
While it is a pretty nice interface they doing real work on the OS like scanning several dozen thousand computers with nmap or running an iperf bandwidth test and watch it lock up your computer, not to mention it slows the system down and cuts your frame rate in half.

When I think Linux evolution I think of the many firewalls I have replaced with my aging P3 servers instead of shelling out several thousand dollars for a PIX. I think of the blue coat proxy devices that I didn't have to buy thanks to squid and squid guard.

Of course im competent unlike most point and click MCSE noobs and don't need to buy these devices and their overrated service contracts.
