Universal bets on free music on Nokia phones

I never thought I'd ever say this...: The...music...industry...is...doing...something...RIGHT!

matching the P2P's toe for toe; delivering free music. As long as it comes with a PC app...it seems that there's a hint of common sense - and dare I say innovation - from the labels.

The obvious question though isn't if they'll bake a year of music into the price of the device itself, but whether it'll be priced outside of the range of their core demographic. Additionally, nothing was stated as to how much the subscription will cost after the year is up.

This is still something to keep an eye on, and I'm very happy about it.
