You still need a passport to utiliza an Internet Cafe
While it may no longer be necessary to present a passport at the border when traveling in the EU, you still have to present a passport when using a computer at an Internet Cafe. Something is wrong with the "free society" represented by the younger democracies. It goes beyond terrorism. It involves an entrenched old guard that is unwilling to defend itself from the Web 2.0 gangs which ridicule and question their covert ways. Telcom regulation is a side line to that real problem. The EU economy isn't doing as well as the Euro might indicate. The economy will suffer greatly this year. All you need do is visit to understand this and see it as true.
