doesn't google want to buy wireless frequency + make own phone?
Then it would not have to grovel to anyone. If Google had its way, all wireless would be free, ad-supported. All wireless voice and data communications would be trolled by its search crawlers, indexed by its search engine, and contextually-spammed by its advertizing system.
