funny you mention banks
Guess what, banks DO limit the amount of money you may access over time. By regulation they only have to have 10% of total deposits as cash on hand. (for some "trunk" banks it's a scant 4%)

I can lecture at length on how the present system truly works and what's wrong with it, but for now I'll just say statistically speaking nobody reading this has the correct view on the real operation of central banks.

But I found it funny the previous used the "what if" metaphor of a bank. They do in fact prevent you from accessing your entire wherewithal at one time, if your account is large enough. It'd have to be well over $10,000 before they'd tell you "not today."
